Joseph Mazurais-Prod’homme (France, “Armenian Council” NGO, International and Comparative Law Center)

The tasks I was given in my job sites, mainly writing reports about topics related to International relations (at Armenian council) or International Law (ICLaw), were highly beneficial for my professional and personal development. Not only did I get the opportunity to expand my knowledge on these themes and about Armenia’s geopolitical challenges, I had to learn and apply effective methodologies to conduct research and writings. These methods will be very useful for the following years of my studies and my future career. I was happy to give my contribution to the works of my job sites. Even though I only wrote a few reports, I hope they will contribute to bigger works and to help Armenia become an even more attractive and prosperous country. (July 13, 2026)

Robin Adam (France, “Armenian Council” NGO)

I really enjoyed both my job at the Armenian Council and Armenia as a country, both culturally and humanly. This experience allowed me to carry out my end-of-studies internship and strengthen my professional specialization on the political and geopolitical issues of the region. But it also allowed me to discover a country very different from France, with a rich and exciting culture, sublime landscapes, both in winter and in summer, but also to make many enriching encounters. Yerevan is a very pleasant city and the summer atmosphere reinforces the impression of a lively and pretty city. But don’t miss other parts of the country too ! I will definitely come back to Armenia one day! (July 15, 2026)

Laura Ferraris (Italy, Youth Initiative Centre)

Since I want to work as a project manager in NGOs, this experience was particularly enriching for my CV and career goals. I worked closely with the project management team and also did some on site experience. (July 13, 2026)

Elizaveta Sidorenko (Russia, Women’s Resource Center of Armenia, Social Justice NGO)

I wanted to try a new field (outside of my bachelor’s program) and was able to do so; and through this experience I was able to improve my business writing skills and gain experience working in English. (June 26, 2026)

Rod Greig (UK, EduCat, Team Time, History Museum of Armenia, English Lab)

Having retired from school teaching over 10 years ago, it is important for me to remain active, exercise my brain and to stretch myself by facing new challenges. All my volunteer placements required me to do these things. (June 10, 2026)

Olivia Glaser (US, Ministry of Health, CRRC-Armenia Foundation, European Institute of International Languages)

This experience helped me learn a lot about my own skills and preferences as they relate to my professional life. It gave me insight into what kinds of professional experiences I would like to have in the future! (June 9, 2026)

Orion Worldwide Innovations

We were given a very passionate volunteer from the U.S. Isis joined our cause and became a fundamental teammate. Her communication skills, graphic creativity, and experience in project management were all necessary additions. She headed projects involving company engagements, high-level events, and content creations. Although she was with us for a short time, we saw her proactivity and ability to multi-task through her day-to-day work. In addition, her intuition and problem-solving skills were ideal when communicating with executives and leading meetings for our projects.

Diana Arzumanyan, CEO and Co founder – Orion Worldwide Innovations

AVC Volunteer Brian Kamajian’s involvement with our Teen Club has been nothing short of transformative. His dedication to fostering a supportive and engaging environment for our young members has been truly commendable. Additionally, Brian’s recent facilitation of the Project Management workshop was a resounding success. His expertise in the subject matter, coupled with his dynamic teaching style, captivated our participants and provided them with practical insights into effective project management practices. Wigmore clinic

Our volunteers made a huge impact on our organization by training and empowering our nurses. In training our new nursing residents, we continue to use the presentations they developed as well as the knowledge we gained during our collaboration.

Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Development of Communities / ISSD NGO

“ISSD’s experience with AVC has been extremely rewarding since day one. The volunteers who have joined ISSD helped us have a positive impact on both peoples’ lives and the environment. The international experience and they have brought has been invaluable for all our team members and stakeholders. It is especially amazing to see how our volunteers became full or part-time members/employees of our organization after their service, ultimately further promoting sustainable development in Armenia.”

Oqni NGO

Our volunteer was one the best blessings for Oqni. She drafted a booklet that includes all the necessary information for amputees to feel in control of their lives, despite their terrible circumstances. She helped Oqni grow in ways that I couldn’t even put into words. She is strong, humane, kind, and motivated and never said no to a challenge.

Haikouhi Oroudjian, Co-Founder at Oqni – Oqni NGO
