TURPANJIAN CENTER FOR POLICY ANALYSIS (TCPA) AT THE AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF ARMENIA

TCPA was established in 1995 by the American University of Armenia’s School of Political Science and International Affairs (PSIA) with the central mission of promoting knowledge and understanding through objective and independent research and policy analysis. The Center’s long-term objective is to contribute directly to Armenia’s transition to a democratic state. The Center accomplishes this objective through its open door policy for all persons involved in Armenian policy-making processes and through its educational, research, and analytical activities. These activities not only serve the primary objective but also facilitate the introduction of new research methods and analysis to experts and scholars in Armenia.

Typical Volunteer Tasks: Volunteering opportunities include conducting literature reviews on topics relevant to ongoing projects, familiarizing themselves with knowledge on the regions and cities of the Republic of Armenia where the projects will be implemented, compiling information on schools in Armenia, mapping project destinations, assisting in defining target locations, and providing support with other administrative duties as needed.
