Professional Corps

Are you an experienced professional in your field and ready to share your knowledge abroad? Join AVC!

The Professional Corps program is designed for mature, working professionals between the ages of 32 and 59, have at least five years of work experience, and keenly desire to share their expertise. Professional Corps allows for a minimum stay of two weeks with a donation to AVC and one month donation-free, accommodating those with tight or seasonal vacation schedules, like school teachers; if volunteers love Armenia, they can remain for as long as one year. Volunteers put in a minimum of 20 hours in their field of expertise or another of their choosing, spread out over the weekdays. This leaves ample time for in-country exploration and socializing during their stay. “Flexibility” is the watchword at AVC and in Armenia in general, so volunteers can even change assignments mid-stay or have more than one assignment at a time.
