Students Corps
If you are 21+ years old international student currently pursuing your studies at an Armenia based university, apply to our Student Corps to secure an internship to complement your studies and receive support services to enrich your experience in Armenia.
Since 2022, AVC has been running the Student Corps Program, designed to assist international students studying in Armenia by arranging customized internships and helping them better integrate into the local community. As part of the program, students commit to 20 hours of internship work, which AVC tailors according to their academic interests and based on the needs of our 1,600+ partner organizations from a wide variety of sectors such as: business, education, environmental sciences, finance, health, human rights, journalism, PR, government-supported bodies, NGOs, and arts and culture. Volunteers commit to intern for at least one month and a maximum of one year. AVC also provides support services to provide a seamless integration including airport pickup, affordable (and optional) host-family living arrangements, Armenian language classes, and much more. In addition, AVC’s weekly gatherings, forums and weekly excursions all across the country enable volunteers to uniquely discover the sights, sounds, and flavors of Armenia.
N.B.: If you are between the ages of 21 to 31 and are at least 25% ethnically Armenian, contact Birthright Armenia directly; they will advise you on how to proceed. However, if you were born in Armenia and left after the age of 12, you are still eligible to apply through AVC.
